I don't really understand the justification for all these sex robot articles. I have a strong suspicion that the market is incredibly niche.

I think conceptually it taps into the sci-fi future some people imagine, even if the reality is *much* less glamorous/appealing.

in the case of disgust, it's a response that is meant to prevent infection / disease. Definitely pre-verbal
