we're really talking enlightenment. Though enlightenment says that Kings are very similiar to enlightened people.

Something of the driving force behind getting towards enlightenment seems to be discontent. Contentment, if anything, lessens the drive.

& ppl w their basic survival needs met can be profoundly discontented/depressed. and they have a lot more time to think about enlightenment

One of the reasons I say what I say is that most of what we know as meeting needs hinders clear perception, unless won directly.
