Yes, but disentangling yourself from victimhood, particularly if you've been abused, is difficult - like learning to walk again.

If someone is too weak/defeated/overwhelmed to do that, it's not necessarily possible to do that. Fetishizing victimhood, OTOH, is terrible.

There is a part of your being that cannot be harmed. Find that part and rest in it. The spiritual equivalent of re-learning how to walk.

I agree with that, but I don't think people are always capable of doing that, or, perhaps more accurately, are not always willing to do it.
That, and the route there seems to go straight through "here be dragons" territory. Might be worth it, but doesn't look like it from outside
