The Q of what Russia is ideologically is interesting to me. To what extent can they be said to have adopted & bought into neoliberalism?

On one hand, oligarchs've certainly bought into global capital & markets. On other, much < cultural saturation & > anti-NL cultural capital

I wouldn't call Russia a neoliberal state. Not near e.g Germany, or even Brazil. Russia's been *fucked* by it though, inc. by it's own elite

I remember reading some interesting takes on Russia's own ideological developments, parallel with neoliberalism, but I can't recall where.

Seems I was thinking of Alexander Dugin and Fourth Political Theory, but what I read also discussed how it interfaces with neoliberalism.
