When poor people say they're under attack, or marginalized minorities in just about any nation, it reflects material reality - capitalism.

There are people who feel as violated by a 10% tax hike on their assets as someone else feels stressed that they can't afford meds.

Perhaps the most unfortunate side-effect of feelings-as-politics is that we can't tell these people to go fuck themselves with barbed wire.
