That's also been my experience. The only problem is that insight practice without shoring up other areas can mess you up fast and hard.

I made most of my attainments in that area as a teenager. I'm still patching holes from that almost a decade later, to put it that way.

A lot of advice around training involves how to win at some particular thing (sport, games, capitalism). This is not the same as improving.
