There are huge amounts of negative (and correct) things we could say about communists, but they at least had relevant ideas for their time.

To my knowledge, there is no currently-operative political paradigm that is to any degree in touch with a world of climate change and bots.

Most of the attempts to chart and understand the idea space of our current world is being done in business and tech, not politics.

But, with a few notable exceptions, entrepreneurs don't have a history of being directly useful in politics - except maybe as useful idiots.

Many people will get rich off the back of AI development, VR, AR, bots etc. Many already are, of course, but there will be so many more.

But will regular society benefit, or will we get sheer chaos? I think we'll find that our ability to benefit will rely directly on politics.

Not politics in the sense of "what politicians say", but of people figuring out how the hell to navigate our world safely and effectively.
