30 minutes outdoors in the snow has done me more good than 30 hours of meditation.
This is probably difficult to grasp for southerners.

Where I come from, the norm is 6+ months of snow cover a year.
In the past 3 years, I haven't seen more than a month or so of snow total.

It's possible to get over or at least mitigate the loss of your cultural attachments, but your body remembers things ineffable to the mind.
