I got over my fear of the dark years ago, but I think I watched too many horrors as a kid. Going near mirrors in the dark freaks me out bad.

I'm completely aware that it's as ridiculous as it gets, but my limbic system is dead certain something else will be staring back at me.

How people can live with their own idiosyncrasies and feel rational is beyond me.
Either that or... don't look in a mirror in the dark.

Funny story: a good friend of mine once claimed he saw Something Else in the mirror. He ran.
This didn't exactly help my particular phobia.
