huge mistake, Ruble will crash again and it puts no pressure on to end sanctions, plus it makes it look like he was bluffing which will make people more willing to call in the future.

I mean, yes, it's obvious you can't make concessions that big and maintain your position.
Haven't seen much news from Ukraine nor cared to seek it out right this moment, but I'm halfway expecting to find Russia in withdrawal now.

They're gonna sue for territory and neutrality. Zelenskyy might not be able to go for that lest he face a nationalist coup attempt. They're in a real bind.
