Trying to wrap my head around the fact that multiple world powers are trying to upend the entire global financial system using a regional war in Europe as pretext.
Will they realize what they're doing before the effects are long-term irreversible? Are they already irreversible?

As of now, it seems the only power *not* committed to any drastic course of action is the EU, i.e. the one most affected.
I guess anything more complicated than destroying the Greek economy for decades is too much of a challenge.
