All of us must now face the reality that we will not have peace in Europe until there is regime change in Russia. Then we should seek to welcome a new Russia as a partner for peace.

Yes, Russia are brandishing their nukes. For all of post-Hiroshima history there has been an understanding that you do not openly attack nuclear powers. An understanding NATO are playing coy with. Putin is a war criminal. This is not a justification for escalation vs. nukes.

Suggesting openly to Putin that we wish to give him the Gaddafi treatment is just backing him into a corner, for no gain whatsoever.
