It's been a day and a half since I ate that thing. I am still confused.

Day 2:
North Carolina farmer's markets are staffed by wonderful old ladies and storekeeps with much to say on the preparation of honey and local sights to see.
The meat company had gone home for the day, but will be samplin' produce, butter and eggs tonite.

Topographically the American South, like much of Central Europe, is mostly experienced as a series of highways alongside which buildings appear.
We will soon start visiting forests and national parks, though, which I'm looking forward to!

Southern Americans are very polite. Exceedingly polite. I feel almost embarassed for my manners.

This is my new best friend. I bought her dried beef treats, so am clearly a pack member in high standing.

Indian place with all you can eat buffet.
