North Carolina farmer's markets are staffed by wonderful old ladies and storekeeps with much to say on the preparation of honey and local sights to see.
The meat company had gone home for the day, but will be samplin' produce, butter and eggs tonite.

Topographically the American South, like much of Central Europe, is mostly experienced as a series of highways alongside which buildings appear.
We will soon start visiting forests and national parks, though, which I'm looking forward to!

Break from bookstore perusin' to drink lapsang souchong sea salt hot chocolate, a combination I'd never have imagined but now love.
