Many commonly used antipsychotics seem to do this to people.
I have one friend diagnosed with schizophrenia who wanted to kill themselves solely because their doctors wanted to force them back on antipsychotics. (They're fine now and off the drugs, thankfully.)

one of my best friends growing up was diagnosed schizophrenic almost 20 years ago and he went on anti-psychotics, a changing regimen over time. he's far worse now than he was when he had his catastrophic break.
