These paintings are not comparable without breaking down the very yardstick you were using to compare them. Art is not a school assignment, and this mindset is fundamentally misguided.

A thing these chuds never seem to grasp is that technical refinement is only done on top of established work. How do you refine a style that doesn't exist? Even then, has any copycat ever out-Hendrixed Hendrix or out-Van Goghed Van Gogh? And why should anyone care if they did?
