unsure! but temporary sleep deprivation has actually been looked at as a treatment for bipolar and depression (note that by day 2 I'm a mess; also this doesn't work if it was merely "awful sleep" like tossing/turning all night for a cumulative 3 hours of disconnected sleep)

be careful especially if you have access to stims stronger than caffeine it can kick off a nasty, messy sleep cycle it isn't bad for like...crisis management? but it's extremely temporary. if you do it, give yourself probably 2 weeks before doing it again.
