The most unnerving change with the gradual fading of my partisan tendencies is that I now love almost everyone, fundamentally, as individuals.
This causes a lot of embarassment, including realizing I no longer hate people I have been very committed to hating fr the longest time.

It takes a much more exacting standard for me to ascribe malice, although some people still work hard to meet it...

As with most transformations, it doesn't have any obvious genesis, save that certain beliefs stopped making sense to me.
