I feel like the more light you add to any object illuminated by meditation, the more idiosyncratically yours it becomes.
I.e. consciousness has this fractal self-similarity where even things that seem far removed from each other semiotically will eventually overlap.

I also wonder if this isn't why people so bitterly defend their (un)orthodoxies about the enlightenment experience.
Rather than accept the mystery of how profoundly strange and varied these experiences can be, it's easy to say "I am right, for everything in my universe agrees."

Is my personal cosmology of angels and demons, strange gods & places & civilizational death drive transferable, in any sense universal?
Maybe it depends on the local laws.
