I see Twitter has cleverly started disguising promoted follows by making 2/3 some random nonsense account nobody you follow follows.

Yes, for sure this major bank was suggested on the basis of my preferences, follows, mutuals and tweet content. Seems legit.

Maybe someday soon they'll make promoted tweets impossible to block, too. Brrr.
