Sometimes having these flashes of memory that feel depersonalized, like watching a film, but they're just "me" from some time ago.
Other memories don't share this quality.

In my experience, informing people that you are open to their tales of paranormal or psychic events almost always works as an immediate cue for them to open up about their experiences.
They are all over the map. Some extremely subtle, some blatant (glassware exploding, etc)

Yeah, I also decided to interpret it as an act of signalling.
"Did you know I'm utterly insane?"

Let me put it this way: Everyone I've discussed this with has described something. Nobody has ever said 'No, nothing like that has ever happened to me'.
