Small marker of not meditating enough: Felt dehydrated, filled myself a big glass of water and went to my room. In my room, spotted some mess and went to clean it up, setting my glass aside first. Later, thought it was an old glass of water and poured it out in the sink.

When I do it deliberately and not spontaneously, I try to aim for an hour, usually either in-depth exploration of one technique or drilling a repeating roster of basic techniques (mantras, effortless mindfulness, other stuff). I've been a meditator for about 12-13 years now.
