Aha, like that. Feel like we need to clarify some things:
1) I hate psychiatry.
2) I mean therapist as in non-psychiatrists, people who can't prescribe drugs or diagnose you off hand. Very different problem space IMO.
E.g. I've forwarded more than one area where a psychiatrist might field a diagnosis, or want to run tests. No interest in that from his side.
If I was pushy about it, I guess he would recommend me to a psychiatrist, but he explicitly is not interested in diagnosis or labeling.

I think there are a lot of shitty therapists/psychologists but there are a lot of great ones, too.
Psychiatry is kinda fucked from first principles.
