Unlike elsewhere, there hasn't been either A) a high emphasis on integration or B) major concessions to the nationalists to keep them sedated.

This is an interesting perspective. I'd like to hear a bit more about that.
All the nordic countries have some measure of exceptionalistic cultural delusions, but the Swedish one seems the least stable and most dissonant.
It's easy to imagine it crumbling completely, and who knows what replaces it then? Except, it's usually whatever is left around...
