I watched this video from on listening to podcasts and video at higher speeds. I'm trying it on Start With Why on Audible.
At 1.75x speed it felt too fast, but by the end of just the first chapter it seems normal, like my brain has sped up.

Yes for just over a year I have listened to most media at 2x speed and my brain adapted pretty quick to that pace of information processing. I often don't listen to podcasts that do not have the option of increasing the speed.

Given that speed reading is a totally viable option when interacting with text, this isn't altogether surprising.
Interesting how it changes comprehension, though - less access to tonally, rhytmically encoded information, but also fewer distractions from the verbal content... ?
