there are all sorts of complicated explanations about rats and postrats, and none of it made much any sense to me, until I started hearing some whispers about hush-hush bad shit that allegedly happened, then I'm like, oh. postrats are rats distancing themselves from asshole rats

could this also, in a sense, be a lens through which to view the multiple waves of feminism? 🤔 women can be assholes too; women know this better than anyone every movement eventually gets contaminated by fools and assholes and needs to be rebirthed

Yes. Differences between the Scandinavian countries in terms of feminist discourse etc. is illuminating here. Most of the stuff experienced abroad feels like pre- some of those splits. US has a sort of Swedish bent to the dominant strains of feminism, other countries less so.
