Is cancel culture happening outside of the West? I'd be curious to know. Seems pretty endogenous from this vantage. Even explicitly encouraged by many parts of the political establishment. Divide et impera.

What I see, because I lay my eyes everywhere where the gates aren't barred, is a bloated mafia state desperately clinging to power. Then the wolves competing to rip it apart are progeny of the 30s. There are cyberpunk green Nazis and green Socialists.

Turn up any rock you can find on this planet - industry, ideology, identity - and you will find nothing but worms and parasites underneath. It is indeed dying. It is indeed dead. We need some spiritual pesticide and a lot of soap, a lot of materials, a lot of work. Or we die.

Earth is a charnel ground. "Civilization" is killing nearly everything on it. Vegans get this when they talk about death factories in farming, but miss that they are living on planet death factory itself. Our entire energy cycle is in a thermodynamic death spiral. It must end.

Humans are so frightened of what they'll find under the next rock. Dershowitz gets Epstein's files closed. No British royal is investigated over Jimmy Savile. Saudi despots enjoy the high life on Champs-Elysees. Not a single bank closed over 2008. ExxonMobil is still a company.
