maybe I'm just used to total 180 personality shifts, but I don't really get why people make shadow-alts when you can just, like be your shadow sometimes

don't get me wrong I have like four accounts total, but each of those is for a purpose/type of content that would fuck me over if they were actively associated with each other

I guess something similar can be said for large accounts where there's more public scrutiny/enemies so they create a private for their edgy thoughts
but that's still not really shadow-alting

tbh I'd just mark all the shadow-posts with something like #ImFree
clear delineation without the hassle imo
