People who set out with lofty goals, of any kind, are strangely attached to their specific ignorant conception of said goals.

Dissatisfies seekers in meditation seem especially prone to this.
When confronted with someone who claims to have found what they sought, many will froth in a rage that it is certainly not what *they* are seeking.
But is that the point?

Hell, some of the satisfied ones are even more annoying.
