Ah, one of the things I've least missed about reading on the level of my teen: the obsessive need to read all the things on my list, NOW.
Even without going through any of my old notes or threads of interest, that's already approaching 30+ works.

I've been on a massive reading fast for years, reading maybe 2 books a month. Long backlog of stuff to read.
Am now approaching old time investment but not speed. Not that speed helps much, since reading is where I discover most new books I'd like to read.

It is an exponential practice. Best to declare reading bankruptcy and allow immediate interest to direct the flow. Keeping a list makes me feel better. Thankfully I have learned not to buy them all.
