Much of what people call arrogance is really just confidence.
Much of what is called humility is just covert narcissism.
These two tendencies in combination can be really annoying to deal with.

That said, I feel like the fact that we have this BULLSHIT attitude normalized, and existing inside the Overton window, makes it easier to recognize elsewhere.
And yes, it's still just as toxic everywhere else.
