Cynicism is a trap but I can't help but feel that if you love this world and look at it honestly and it doesn't scorch you black, you're delusional.
We are really deep in a downward spiral, and seemingly powerless to arrest our momentum.
It's a fairly grim exercise, seeing.

I constantly get accused of negativity for just noticing things that are on my radar and not going "eh, that won't be important."
This can play out 50 times and the same people who were in denial will still pretend that I was doing something wrong by noticing.

Seemingly inconsequential eg but a dance teacher once told me to take occasionally a class more beginner than your level to keep your calibration of how far you’ve come and thus can go. We have had huge improvements
