Can't help but feel that this is one of the main pivot points that keep most people fixed in a certain persona(lity). The status games you played the most in childhood become calcified and inflexible. Nearly everyone has a specific mode they're stuck in.

Society actively squeezes out drama as ‘unprofessional’. If people are stuck in a certain way of being it’s easier to stick that cog in the right place. Peopleologists tend to mostly work similarly from a “fix this person for society”.

True, although there are plenty of exceptions to the latter point especially. Still, I think there are modelling issues. Simulation may simply outstrip lab work or certain kinds of field work in terms of clarity. Or Johnstone is just that good. Also a possibility.

It's simple. Drama teacher gets quick feedback from the audience, peopleologists get "peer reviews by peopleologists" but don't have to listen to the people themselves
