Really wish people would realize how idiotic "white privilege" is, conceptually.
Suffering fewer abuses of power is not a position of privilege. Every citizen is a serf to the state.
It muddies the water and leaves the obvious unstated: ethnic minorities are victimized *more*.
Conversation
When you see cops knock over white senior citizens or gang up and brutalize bystanders of any color, are they privileged for not being shot?
Or do blacks just have it even worse than the average citizen?
Is the state buddies with ordinary whites? C'mon.

If you are not in uniform, you are as meat to the state right now. Color will not protect you.
Not will antagonizing people who should be your natural allies with identitarian asininities.

I can't take offense to this, personally.
I am both white and a minority in my home country, so my ethnic classification is always a bit mixed.
But I do find the stupidity and pointlessness of it rather annoying. We could be focusing on real problems, rather than imagined ones.

If you let go of the need to pretend whites are in a special, cushy class because of their skin tone, you will find that racism still exists.
Abuse still exists.
Cops still exist.
Nothing changed, except the need to ascribe every injustice to an imaginary special privilege.

In my home country, we have people who will spend hours and hours going on about how offensive it is when some Norwegian politician dresses up as Sami or Native American.
But not one ounce of will to do something about persistent underfunding of Sami lessons in school, etc.

As a rule, these people are not Sami. They will come out of the woodworks to fetishize us when they think it gives them standing.
They are never there when there is a messy political fight to get involved in, however.

I've never spoken Sami better than B1 level. This didn't last through the willful neglect of public schooling.
My family don't speak the language because their teachers would beat them bloody if they did, back in their day.
But sure, tell me how offensive a costume is to me.

If you internalize language like this, if you internalize a mindset of seeing everything from the position of abstract abuse, rather than concrete...
The end result is a shift in your mentality away from specifically countering hostile actors, towards jumping at shadows.
