Ha yeah the proverbial machine elves/messengers are flirtatious in ways analogous to the underlying sensitivity of mind, something along those lines
In meditative framework that might just be like how sights & sounds can feed into experience of bliss (can be a sticky path, mind)

Funny tidbit: in lieu of messengers, I tend to experience some sort of multiplex self where a whole cast of me-proxies start opening doors.
Also, sort of odd... like 90% of them are women.
Interesting to note this seems to be a common experience. Just did a search for anima and LSD, and there is loads of Jungian writing on it.
