I set a timer for ten minutes. Set and sat. Sat and felt. Felt my emotions for ten minutes. Excruciating. Why?

Depends on how you count lol. I got 7 years of therapy countless hours of focusing and journalling behind me. Like probably in the high thousands. I do *not* have a lot of direct emotional luminosity or emotional deconditioning work behind me.

Okay. I do. This is a normal initial step when it starts *working*. As more garbage starts to leave your system, it gets less oppressive. Even pleasant.
