I both agree and disagree; being prolific is good because there are certain things you can't learn from working on a single project, but there is a mindset/style where you just stop learning and start churning

I think each person has a sort of natural disposition/style, and there are many different styles that can all be great. the challenge is to be true to your own style. ironically you do that best by not worrying too much about it, and just focusing on what you love

I think I do that! I have an ebook and I'd love to sell more of them, but I think people can tell from my general nerdiness that I would continue being a nerd on twitter even if nobody ever bought anything (since that's what I was doing for years prior anyway)

yeah the trick in my view is to choose goals that are manifestations of what you're already doing
generally, the more divergent the goal is from the natural state, the more awkward and forced it's going to be, and that will be a disservice to everyone
