That's odd but interesting. Sounds a bit line that guy who had a stroke and became a virtuoso rapper afterwards.

I lived in an apartment that a master carpenter refinished, after his stroke.
The flooring and trim gleamed. Beautiful work. Immaculate cabinetry and joinery.
Every single electrical outlet in the apartment (completely safe) was installed upside down.
