My life feels terrible over winter and amazing over summer.
My life reliably hits peak shit in January unless I leave the country.
My levels of motivation and intellectual capacity peak around August.

You know this is so common it has a name and an entire industry of mostly-ineffective products for dealing with it, right? This is Seasonal Affective Disorder.

just found that out. but is seasonal also day to day? like if its summer but rainy and you feel bad is it still SAD? LOL - SAD, nice

right, but is it *technically* Seasonal Affective Disorder? or is that just 'depressed in winter, happy in summer'?

Some of you never grew up in northern Norway and it shows.
(SAD is quite involved, but moods and seasons and weather and so on is a complete duh because the seasonal differences are so huge. Everyone is affected.)
