I've had women admit to feeling this way around me sometimes, directly or indirectly. Still, women are often tuned by necessity to be sensitive to male anger, so it made some sense. Hearing it from a much bigger man, as a first impression, was sort of an off-putting experience.

It's funny to me in context on here, because I've always felt my Twitter persona was a bit angrier and more intense than in person. But I understand, now: I just feel less driven to exercise control on here. Without my leash, this is just my general vibe.
