it's true that your startup insights will look stupid in 6 months that said, if you persist for 60 months (assuming you're intellectually honest + commit to refining your work) they'll start to look smart and in 300 months you'll be among the best in the world

One of my fav. veiled narcissisms is this concept that you're not allowed to be Bad at things in public. Revealing weakness is not some character flaw, unless done fatuously, with conceit and without self-awareness. I chastise myself constantly for rodenting out of doing it.
