I have lived with and befriended people from just about every layer of society, save for the ultra-rich. Thus, I come bearing words of peace: we're all bigoted assholes with scant understanding of those outside our bubble. There are no exceptions, at all, at a group level.

Lots of individuals with fairly open-minded, charitable views of those they don't know, in my experience. Talking group dynamics, here. I'd doubt if I'm one of them, though. Got plenty of issues with integration just at a personal level, let alone when working with abstractions.
