Anyway I really really like The Witcher TV series. Like.... More than I usually like things? A lot more? I'm not usually much into TV, I struggle to focus and it all seems to need to be Maximum Tense so the Witcher's variable mood is a breath of fresh air.

It's funny! Henry Cavill is actually a totally amazing Geralt with the comic timing to match! Dandelion is A+ and whoever wrote those songs should get an award! The Sorcerers Council are deeply weird and sinister.

I just really unusually like it. There's, uh, some uncomfortable stuff RE Yennefer, but I don't think it was awful, just a bit clumsy, and Yennefer herself is full of grit and power and agency and I love her a lot. Also, there's just so many folks of colour

And just - all kinds of different people. Old and young, different races, attractive and average and unattractive, people get to be dirty and messy and covered in blood, people get to smell weird and sweat and spit. It's just so anti the glossy Hollywood thing.
