Does anybody know which European countries were least affected by World War II?

they made themselves a bit useful, but it's also a very defensible country and the worst terrain imaginable for a Blitz.

Sweden also survived, and made themselves very useful to the Nazis. But at the current time I get the impression Sweden is the worst of the Nordics, I'd go to any of the others first.

I'm inclined to keep an eye on Scotland, too. Few natural resources (although plenty of water), but a great place to hide.

The world has changed a lot, but there area commonalities that make some places inherently better places to survive. I think it's going to be a while before climate-related problems really start to screw Europe, but we all need to plan for the future.
