Just so the utopians will realize that, as a planet, society and species, we are still totally fucked.
The political problems this would address are like two layers up from the base at which we are totally fucked.

We are thermodynamically, ecologically, anthropologically fucked.
Present extractivist politics worsen the problem, but are not THE problem.
And at this scale, soon it will make no difference at all.
