Vulnerable narcissism, yes. My favourite.
Public perceptions of narcissism are mostly so far off kilter that they're not even worth bothering with.
We have seriously confused (and ironically narcissistic - as in self-absorbed, low empathy) notions of what NPD is like.

Some people do like orbiting narcissists - drama and excitement to feed off of. Hang out with musicians and groupies and it becomes super apparent
