DM if you want to talk. I was working through this before my divorce, and the divorce itself caused a major breakthrough. Then I got caught up fixing all the life/emotional entanglements afterwards and dropped it. Started meditating again yesterday. Feeling it again now.

Can pretty much establish a focal point of awarness like a shift in balance. It's a deliberate action you can learn to do without difficulty. Remembering to do it is a different story, but probably mostly about habituation.
