Probably the hardest part of any insight-producing contemplative practice, and thus the part people do the least of, is real life integration.
So it's super cool if you can stay present with your feelings, simultaneously embodying them and perceiving them as impersonal, but...

In other words, can you do it when it actually matters?

The dissolution of traumas or the loosening of attachments is a process you can do simply (if messily) in private, or with a teacher.
Try doing it in vivo, right in the middle of everything else. 'Simple' doesn't fit into that, anywhere.
