I don't read that much compared to some people because I retain nearly everything. Shit gets crowded.

I'm the opposite. Read lots. Forget even more. End up with a dazzling web of associations I can't fully parse.
Just links and paths and bridges and tunnels to the tiniest of things.

I have a lot of weird associations too. I read a lot online, but I also read slow. Some of the first books I read as a kid had a huge impression on me.
