agreed 100% that patriarchy is wild, but how is this the work of the patriarchy...? doesn't this boil down to the fact that women prefer taller men? or is it like... women prefer tall men because men respect and admire tall men...? I'm confused

A 5’7” woman is above average height for females and a 5’7” man is below average height for males. I think that fully explains it!

Doesn't this just imply that the answers are based on frequency data - Google knowing our genders and all? You wouldn't expect a 5’7” man to wonder if they're tall, but short... "I'm not short, I'm about average! Look, we'll Google it- oh."
